When you apply for, or renew, your driver's licence, any medical condition that may affect your ability to drive must be reported to SGI. Write this information on a supplementary medical application, available from all licence issuers. Failure to report medical conditions could result in a loss of insurance coverage. Individuals applying for a Class 1, 2, 3 or 4 driver's licence, or a Class 5 licence with a 1, 2, 3, 4, Heavy Trailer or School Bus Endorsement, are required to meet medical standards and file a medical report with SGI before testing begins.
